Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

The gentle art that emphasizes group fighting, using leverage and learnt techniques to be able to defend or submit a larger and stronger opponent or person. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is practised for self-defense, sport and hobby.

A style Jiu Jitsu where gripping of material is not permitted and techniques are altered appropriately. A realistic transition to self-defense in the street as well as training for a rapidly growing sport.

Self-Defense

Self-defense is a set of awareness. assertiveness, verbal confrontation skills, safety strategies and physical techniques that enable someone to succesfully escape, resist and survive violent attacks. A good self-defense program provides psychological awareness and verbal skills, not just physical training.
